The boot features a unique monobloc composite design, offering 15% more ankle support compared to standard constructions. This one-piece injected structure ensures a snug fit and superior energy transfer while increasing the skate’s durability over time.
Inside, the skate is lined with soft microfiber to wick away moisture and keep your feet dry during intense play. A 30oz dual-layer felt tongue offers excellent protection from lace bite and maintains great forward flex.
The shaped EVA footbed conforms to your foot for improved fit, while the integrated composite outsole delivers stability and performance through every stride.
The Bauer XR is equipped with a Flexlite Hi-Lo chassis, which lowers your center of gravity and promotes fast, agile turns. The Hi-Lo setup also varies by size for optimized performance:
Sizes 1–2: front wheels 59 mm, rear wheels 68 mm
Sizes 3–5.5: front wheels 68 mm, rear wheels 72 mm
Sizes 6–12: front wheels 76 mm, rear wheels 80 mm
Each skate uses Bauer’s two-piece 6mm axles with square flush mounts for secure fit and strength.
